OK so this is not as slick as Breaking Bad and can be a bit confusing - it's been a while since I saw the previous series so I was a bit foxed at times.
However, I still enjoyed it much more than most UK TV drama series.
It's still slick and well-made, with interesting plot twists and well-rounded characters. I presume another series is coming too. 4/5
Most tv series start dragging by this stage, but not this one. The characters are so much more authentic than usual. Peoples undeveloped potential being lost in the snakes and ladders of a mismanaged capitalist migraine is such a universal theme for the suburban classes, as is the alienation of modern town planned geographies, and the subtle yet subconscious self destruction, so deliberately implanted on ordinary folks by new world order type economics .
Jimmy really is a great character dancing on the edge in every area of his life like so many people really are, sometimes you have to watch through your hands, you so much want him to make it.
If you haven't seen in check out Bob Odenkirks performance as the terrifying shark of an agent in Larry Sanders.
