OK but rather bland
- Blacklight review by TH
So essentially another another role where Liam Neeson plays a tough guy getting revenge.
It's a rather bland forgettable film. I would say it's won't bore you but nothing about it will be memorable 2 minutes after viewing.

Awful !!!
- Blacklight review by MP
One again Neeson plays more or less the same character he's played in most of his films since Taken. I turned this off after about 20 minutes.
A boring, cliched predictable thriller with a 70 year old actor ( was surprised when I looked up his age) who really needs to realise that his time as action star came too late and is now over.
A great actor but no longer an action film star who is danger of going down the Steve Segal route ,albeit with much more talent, and is danger of being that star who gave up his credibility as an actor to star in any old tripe so long as it pays enough.

Badly lit
- Blacklight review by cr
I liked a few of liam neesons action films but this is truly terrible and is unwatchable.
Apparently it lost the studio 92 million and i can see why.
It got 9% on rotten tomatoes.
Avoid.

Neeson is better than this
- Blacklight review by JD
Neeson is a great actor, but he is one of those actors who I typically avoid watcing - because of the films he is in.
Unlike Nick Cage, who takes on varied roles and brings a special passion to it, regardless of how bad the film is, Neeson is just set in the same role playing the same character every single time.
And here we have the same again but offering up nothing new or interesting. And the plot simply doesnt hold together in the slightest.
Aparently Neeson is doing a remake of Airplane (so ive been told?) Now this is what we need from him. He needs to stop with this action stuff. Once was ok. Not 500 times.

Weak Thriller
- Blacklight review by GI
A weak thriller with a routine and somewhat hackneyed story and Liam Neeson still trying to be an action hero. He's far too old for this sort of thing and here it really shows. He plays Travis, a shady government agent who specialises in rescuing deep cover agents whose cover is blown. He discovers a conspiracy by his boss to assassinate citizens who might be a nuisance to the establishment. There's some unexciting chase sequences, Bournesque fights and shoot outs and the plot is obvious from the get go. In an attempt to spice things up Travis has OCD and a partially estranged daughter and granddaughter with whom he's trying to reconnect. A film that offers nothing new, dull, pretentious and best ignored.

GARBAGE
- Blacklight review by JH
Absolute rubbish. Waste of time. Nothing happens as regards to the plot. The whole film feels more like a long Trailer.
