Synopsis:
An erotic tale of identity and sexuality set in modern day Brazil. Elias (Kelner Macêdo) works as an assistant designer in a clothing factory. As the distance between his professional and personal life closes, Elias explores his desires, invigorated by the freedom offered through his companions. Against the warnings of his superiors, Elias takes to socialising into the night with his co-workers. This feature debut by director Marcelo Caetano captures the beauty and delicate excitement of Elias' sexual awakening, as seen through the intense colour and vibrancy of São Paulo.

Separating Work and Play - Body Electric review by KW

Intersting film about Elias, a young 23 year old with talent as a designer at a clothing manufacturer, but who starts to let the distance between his private and professional life close to the point where it starts to raise issues! Watchable film, but at times the story line seemed to be being stretched to fill out the film to cinematic length.

Not Going Anywhere - Body Electric review by WH

Spoiler Alert

Excellent direction and cinematography- but the plot just rambles on and on and eventually gets nowhere- just drops off the end.

Lots of little mini- plot lines that are under-developed don't make up for the absence of any direction in the plotline of this movie.

Yes- its watchable- but don't expect any conclusions or resolutions. It just doesn't go anywhere.
