A 70's Movie with Style - Cisco Pike review by JE

A really good performance from Kris Kristofferson in his first starring role with excellent songs performed for the enjoyable soundtrack too.

I enjoyed the movie, and the other characters featured in it, most noably Gene Hackman's odd cop Officer Leo Holland, plus Harry Dean Stanton's Jesse Dupre and Antonio Fargas's short appearance as 'Buffalo' and not to forget Karen Black as Cisco Pike's (Kristofferson's) lady also very good.

Though i found it did go a bit awry near the end i would recommend the movie.

Excellent commentary on children of the Sixties fit-fully coming to terms with impending middle-age. Some successful, others not so.
