- Sylvia (Thekla Reuten) and Eddie (Jeroen van Koningsbrugge) lead a live of luxury with their two children. The source of this luxury has been conveniently ignored by Sylvia, who has turned a blind eye to her husband's flourishing drug business. When Eddie's dealing begin to take a turn for the worse, Sylvia wants to protect the lives of their children and decides to flee, but Eddie will stop at nothing to keep his wife and children from disappearing...

Great film about criminals and their families - Clean Hands review by MA
Wow, what a cracking film. Never a dull moment, much better than many films a bit like it and not to be missed. Everything is right about it. Don’t want to spoil the plot, but a Swedish Netflix series seems to be based on this film and it’s good, but not as good as this.

Clean Hands for lockdown - Clean Hands review by TE
A super-heated crime movie that does a workmanlike job of keeping the interest going throughout.
If anything the sheer pace makes for shallow characterisation. In particular, it's hard to see why the wife, Sylvia, remains supportive to her violent gangster of a husband for as long as she does.
Even after he has burned down her friend's salon, murdered one of his friends and generally been at the centre of gory mayhem, Sylvia turns down police help and tries to go it alone.
But it's a serviceable enough tale for a rainy lockdown afternoon.
