Poor Dvd quality, hence the 2 stars! - Curse of the Demon Mountain review by HS

Was looking forward to this film, as I remember watching it over 30 years ago. Sorry to say, I gave up 20 mins into the film, purely due to the very poor picture quality and sound. This took me back to the grainy days of VHS! ?

Shadow of Chikara - Curse of the Demon Mountain review by PD

I was looking forward with great anticipation to watching this motion picture, since I recollect viewing it many years ago. When I saw it it was entitled, the Shadow of Chikara. Quality acting all around. Solid interplay of well judged characters. And a well realized denouement. The drawbacks are the less than perfect picture quality, unusual jumps in editing, perhaps a reckless censor, and the fact that it was originally shot in letterbox style, having had the sides trimmed off for old style TV screens. I'd like to see an uncut CinemaScope presentation, then it would be a gem.
