- From the original TV series comes the classic feature length adventure! There's a new arrival in the Magic Garden in the form of a blue cat called Buxton, which spells trouble for the gang. Dougal suspects things are afoot when he notices Buxton talking to a mysterious 'Blue Voice' . Some very strange things begin to happen and it's up to Dougal to save the day. Created in France by Serge Danot, 'The Magic Roundabout' was adapted and narrated in English by Eric Thompson who gave each character a charm that was adored by millions, making it one of the most cherished British television institutions.

Looks lovely but unfortunate horror plot! - Dougal and the Blue Cat review by MG
Visually this was gorgeous, and it was great to see the full cast of the MR in action! However the plot was classic early 70's psychological horror - not a very appropriate gig for Florence, Ermintrude et al, and too scary for most young children, who would really enjoy the more conventional MR fun and games.
