- Fresh is the story of Michael (Fresh to his friends), a 12 year old drug pusher who lives in a hostel for children without their parents. Fresh aspires to lead the good life but his sister's prostitution for local drug lords along with the senseless murder of two of his friends force him to re-evaluate his life. Utilising the knowledge of his homeless father Sam (Samuel L. Jackson) whom he regularly plays chess with, Fresh decides that drug dealing is not what he wants and that revenge and redemption is.

Not so fresh - Fresh review by LB
I rate it no stars because we could not engage with any of the characters, and did not even see the film through as we were so bored. Not for us. Sorry
