Ross (Rufus Sewell) is self-absorbed, determined, and desperate to save the farm that the rest of his dysfunctional family are content to let go to ruin. With the promise of riches he vows to sell off the priceless family wine collection much to the disgust of his colourful Uncle Cullen (Nigel Hawthorne). Intent on unleashing his own bizarre plans for the family estate, Uncle Cullen is unrelenting to the point of lunacy in his mission to interfere with Ross's plans. As things turn strangely sour Ross's girlfriend Kendal (Minnie Driver) turns up and it seems Ross will have to save more than just the farm from the warped intentions of his family! I rented this because Minnie Driver has a leading role in it. That was a mistake, on her part as well as mine. It is dismaying to think that someone actually funded the making of this bad, lame film.
