some strong acting performances and solid enuf directing...one misjudged lovers reunion scene didnt totally spoil a reasonable well put together feel goodish movie
I loved the movie - I could relate to so much of its content. I imagine, like myself, women will rate this film much more highly than men - it's very female-centred - which is an excellent thing in itself. Take no notice of the lower ratings - I've given it 5 out of 5 to encourage the female audience.
At this time of pandemic, mental health, abuse at home, and a myriad of issues women have to face, the director let unfold the menopausal angst, the catalyst of the leads actions. Bringing together the strands of seperation, motherhood, facing decline, made a film worth 4+ stars. Enjoy it, enjoy the humanity.
