Synopsis:
What if every choice we made had already been made for us? What if there really were no coincidences in life and our destinies were already predetermined? Ten strangers with secrets are brought together in as savage rainstorm: A limo driver (John Cusack – Being John Malkovich), an ‘80s TV star (Rebecca DeMornay – The Hand That Rocks The Cradle), a cop (Ray Liotta – Goodfellas) who is transporting a killer (Jake Busey – Enemy Of The State), a call girl (Amanda Peet – Igby Goes Down), a pair of newlyweds (Clea DuVall and William Lee Scott) and a family in crisis (John C. McGinley, Leila Kenzle, Bret Loehr), all take shelter at a desolate motel run by a nervous night manager (John Hawkes).
Relief in finding shelter is quickly replaced with fear as then ten travelers begin to die, one by one. They soon realize that, if they are to survive, they’ll have to uncover the secret that has brought them all together.

A clever thriller - Identity review by CP Customer

Identity brings together ten people connected by a single and surreal link, nothing is as it seems, and everyone has a hidden agenda and dark secrets. The ensemble cast is great; the plot is clever, engaging and with a spectacular twist in the tale. Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys genuinely creepy murder mysteries.

This was a good scary with some bits to make you jump.I would say that it had a good creepy atmosphere to add to the chill factor. Not a bad storyline too.

Entertaining Low Budget Thriller - Identity review by Dr Waerdnotte

This underrated movie begins with an excellent piece of story exposition as it shows how all the characters involved end up at the motel, apart from the hotel manager (who's back story is explained toward the end of the movie for good reason).

The movie has a great cast lead by Cusack, Liotta and Peet, who are ably supported by a cast of fairly generic characters. The movie is essentially a whodunnit psycho drama, the story suggesting the obvious killer at first, and eventually leading us to believe the most implausible theory of who's the killer before turning the story on its head and revealing the reality behind the horror.

Well paced and inventive story telling that is well worth a watch.
