This gentle and meandering film captures a country where the distances are great, the climate fearsome, and the folks all very pleasant and companionable. The story follows three tales of disparate people heading to the same town. all provide heart-warming, life affirming smiles for the viewer, along with stunning cinematography.
An example of perhaps the finest acting by a canine you will ever get the chance to see.
And a lovely film altogether.
I adored this film. Although not gripping and with a snail paced plot line, the characters are well portrayed and I personally felt every emotion along with them. I want to adopt Don Justo! If you're a fan of Bonbon (also directed by Sorin) then I definately recommend this.
- also I actually agree with the review above...the dog made it's scene feel very real and ultimately more touching!
