A comedy of cosmic proportions, 'My Stepmother Is an Alien' is the story of dedicated scientist Steve Mills (Dan Aykroyd) who discovers extra-terrestrial life in the sensuous form of Celeste (Kim Basinger) - a girl literally out of this world! The two have much to learn from each other. For Dr. Mills it's the untapped knowledge and secrets of another planet. For Celeste, it's discovering what kissing's all about. A match made in the heavens, the only shadow is cast by Jessie (Alyson Hannigan), Dr. Mills teenage daughter who has difficulty in accepting her 'unusual' stepmother. Kim Basinger the sexiest alien ever - My Stepmother Is an Alien review by PT
Kim Basinger plays an alien sent to earth to gain information from scientist Dan Aykroyd. She must get the information asap from Aykroyd in order to save her planet.
Knowing nothing about sex or even kissing she relies on a little extra terrestrial in her handbag to quickly show her the facts of life which she then puts into practice on Aykroyd to further her mission.
This film is great fun and Basinger is sensational as an alien sex siren, with Aykroyd as funny as ever.
Made me smile and laugh throughout.
