One Day in September is a new kind of thriller - one where real lives are at stake and every event is true. An extreme Palestinian group called Black September held 11 Israeli athletes hostage in the Olympic village while the world looked on, incredulous. Anyone in their 40s or 50s must see - One Day in September review by JD
There are few films which portray the 70s so well (Life on Mars springs to mind). I recalled so many of the details of these Olympics and was amazed that it made so many things make sense. Why for example Mark Spitz won 7 gold medals then disappeared. It shows the Germans in a very poor light. If they were hoping to put the spectre of the Jewish genocide behind them, their actions during this episode failed miserably. Was the total cock up, blunder or design? The faked hijacking and release of the Black September group makes blunder unlikely.

AN EYE FOR AN EYE - One Day in September review by Frank Talker™
Little more than Zionist propaganda, this pseudo-documentary offers little context in order to make Israelis seem to be the victims and Palestinians the victimzers. With no political context to allow the viewer to understands the events shown, one is simply witness to the merely tragic - for there is no great tragedy here to speak of. This is a shame, since the world in which we live is far more nuanced than the simplistic Us and Them worldview on show here.
