This is a solid thriller - it's well shot, looks great, and the acting is decent, but it just doesn't have quite enough thrills to take it to the next level. It all works, but quite frankly I could have done with a little more actual rollercoater carnage - as it is, this is a bit like a Jaws film in which the shark only makes a couple of attacks.
PS - For those renting the blu ray, Disc 2 contains the uncut version of the film, so you might as well just skip the first disc and go to this one.

^ This is worth noting BUT renters should also bear in mind that the extras (including a commentary, by a couple of pop culture commentators rather than anyone involved in the making of the film) are on disc 1 with the theatrical version.
Also, the difference (going by movie-censorship.com) is only 4 cuts totalling 4 seconds! Still, given the lack of carnage to start with, it does make a noticeable difference (particularly to the final denouement, which is comically abrupt in the cut version).
