Synopsis:
In the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, a group of journalists working for Knight Ridder and covering George Bush's planned invasion of Iraq in 2003 are sceptical of the presidents claim that Saddam Hussein was hiding "weapons of mass destruction". Journalists Jonathan Landay (Woody Harrelson) and Warren Strobel (James Marsden) decide to play on very dangerous territory by challenging the White House. 'Shock and Awe' depicts their race against time to unveil the truth and their attempt to change the course of history.

Shock and nothing happens - Shock and Awe review by TH

I got bored half way through. What could of been a really insightful film was dealt with in a very dull way. Despite a fairly good cast, I cant say anyone stood out. I found this film very slow and I doubt this will be a film I remember in days to come.

The truth about the IRAQI war and WMD - Shock and Awe review by DL

Spoiler Alert

Brilliant film that tells the lies being told about the lead up the invasion of IRAQ and the so called weapons of mass destruction that the country held. The film follows a newspaper and its journalists being a lone voice in raising concerns about the so called evidence coming out of the White House re Iraq. The film is very easy to follow with superb performances.
