Synopsis:
All the years of Cartman taunting Kyle for being a Jew finally come to a head in this episode. As a result of seeing "The Passion", a traumatised Kyle has to admit that Cartman may have been right about his heritage all along. Inspired by Kyle's change of heart and a powerful love for Mel Gibson, Cartman incites many of the film's hardcore fans to band together and carry out its message. Meanwhile, Stan and Kenny also see the movie and embark upon a quest to find Mel Gibson and get their money back.

Bonus episodes:
Christian Rock Hard
When the other boys kick Cartman out of their band, he pulls his own group together to make music for Jesus. While Cartman's "Faith + 1" rockets to the top of the Christian charts, Stan, Kyle and Kenny are arrested for downloading music from the Internet.

Red Hot Catholic Love
When the Catholic Church sex scandal negatively impacts church attendance in South Park, Priest Maxi travels to Rome to confront religious leaders about a solution. After intensive counselling about the issue, the boys are still confused. Cartman distracts everyone when he pulls off what was believed to be scientifically impossible.

Brilliant and Timely Passion of the Jew & 2 other excellent episodes. - South Park: The Passion of the Jew review by PV

Excellent South Park. The Passion of the Jew is VERY timely now, 20 years later. Short, at around 30 minutes. No idea how they get away with some satire, esp against named actors like Mel Gibson. Not sure they would these days, not in the UK anyway which now faces serious threats to freedom of speech and expression

2 other films here, one which targets the Catholic church and the scandal priests interferring with boys - truly scabrous satire. Very offensive to some - I LOVED it.. The one satirising the music business.
