- Inspired by the first couple's first date, this feel-good romance tells the story of how a charming young law associate called Barack Obama (Parker Sawyers) tried to woo reluctant attorney Michelle Robinson (Tika Sumpter) on a daylong trip in and around Chicago's South Side in 1989. This movie is about their first date. And that’s it. The first date almost word for word and it ends when he takes her home. Yawn.
I would say only good for avid fans of the Obamas.
