Synopsis:
Here's a documentary that needs absolutely no introduction. Why is America so fat? This is the question that Morgan Spurlock wanted to answer. He set out to interview experts in 20 US cities including Houston, the fattest city in America, whilst at the same time conducting his own personal experiment: eat nothing but McDonalds for 30 days straight. There were four rules:1. No options: only eat what was available over the counter (including water!)2. No 'supersizing', unless offered3. No excuses: eat every item on the menu at least once4. No quitting: eat three square meals a day from McDonaldsThe results shocked even the doctors who were monitoring his experiment...
The winner of a host of international awards, this unmissable documentary has really got the world talking and the junk food peddlers running scared!

Mooresque. - Super Size Me review by Steve

Owes a lot to Michael Moore's one man documentary machine, but arguably makes a stronger impression. Spurlock lives off MacDonalds and monitors his physical and emotional decline. One of a number of small scale documentaries to take on the corporations, to negligible effect it must be said. But a persuasive and absorbing argument.

Must See film - Super Size Me review by Cherry

Everyone should see this, although it's not always pleasant viewing. Great film for making a stand, it's good that it's done so well for an 'amateur' movie. The DVD extras are worth watching too.
