- On a fateful day in Venice Beach, JB (Jack Black) and KG (Kyle Gass) meet and realize they are destined to make history by combining their musical genius. Absolutely brilliant! - Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny review by CP Customer
This is the first time I have watched Tenacious D - I believe there have been other films?
This just has so much humour in it as well as a good storyline, plot - everything is just perfect.
It has got the ideal film classification, because tthere are a few sexual references/jokes.
It cracked me up and I couldn't stop laughing, I would definitely recommend it.

if you are a tenacious d fan like me then this is definately the film for you. in the space of 90 minutes both Jables and 'Kage' meet, have their first gig, break into the rock and roll history museum, get high on weed and magic mushrooms and challenge the devil himself (played by Dave Grohl) to a 'rock off' which is my favourite bit.
The acting is outstanding from both characters filling the film with serious and really funny parts. My view is that this film is one of the best that Jack Black has been in and I highly reccommend it, however if you do not find immature humour and lots of swearing then this film is not for you.

Its Jack Black being Jack Black.
Its very silly. And i mean very silly. But even when its not funny it remains entertaining.
My Son also had a great question for me that i couldnt answer. Was this a true story of the formation of Tenacious D? I think we would all agree, yes, it probably is :)
