Terrible story, terrible script (which some of the actors try their best to sell), and laughable action scenes. Not worth anyone's time.

2.5 Would be a more appropriate rating! - The Great War review by CP Customer

Interesting film covering the final days and hours of WW1 with a company of US soldiers sent to rescue a lost platoon and become embroiled in the last desperate efforts of the Germans to retain ground before the armistice kicks in!  Added to the complexity is the the mix of US soldiers some of whom don't want to mix with Negro colleagues but are forced to, to hold their positions.  Not a great film but an interesting one with its focus on how necessity forced the US troops to bond and save the day!
