- Dr. Kate Forster has finally found romance. Trouble is, it's a long-distance relationship. She's in downtown Chicago. He's in a remote lakeside suburb. And there's more: She's in 2006. He's in 2004. Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock team for the first time since Speed for this heart-lifting story of love that transcends time. It begins when Kate moves out of her visually stunning lake house and leaves a note for the next tenant, architect Alex Wyler. Sweet, gentle romance - The Lake House review by CP Customer
Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves, Salt and Pepper, Bread and Butter, etc! These 2 are a winning combination, as she always seems to bring out the best in his otherwise somewhat hammy performances. This is a 'nice' film. Nothing spectacular, but rather sweet and touching. Ideal for a romantic evening in.

Fantasy or sci-fi? - The Lake House review by CP Customer
It seems this film was more or less shot as an excuse to bring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock back together on the screen. The story is very unlikely, but maybe it's an idea to watch the original Korean film whereupon it's based.

Sweet, Romantic & Fuzzy! - The Lake House review by CP Customer
Sandra Bullock & Keanu Reeves have yet again managed to gel together perfectly in The Lake House.
Plently of feel-good romance which leaves you with a warm, fuzzy feeling at the end!
Could be good for a romantic night in with your other half if he/she doesn't mind romances...but to be honest, I am glad I watched it alone as my husband is definitely not the romantic movie type!
