- Detective Kurt Wallander, is an intense and headstrong maverick, who is prone to eating poorly, sleeping irregularly and drinking too much. Inspector Wallander follows on from his last exciting case in The Infiltration and sets out on his concluding assignments, the first being The Sniper. Wallander is mystified when a small-time crook is killed by a sniper, while his squad have other problems at hand. What will the final episodes have in store for the beleaguered Inspector Kurt Wallander?

Wonderful Wallander - Wallander: Collected Films 21-26 review by nt
After watching the whole series again these later episodes are amazing. The characters, the storylines, the filming, the music all adds to the atmosphere of the series. Simply the best.

A good Swedish detective film or 2 - Wallander: Collected Films 21-26 review by JD
The Swedes seem to do a good detective film. Insomnia is awesome. This is only 1 star down. The plot is generally captivating with some slow passages, the acting good. It is not outstanding in any way but better than most American detective series (except no car chases, probably a good thing). There are 2 episodes, Sniper and Angel, as good as each other.
