- Synopsis:
- Is the grass really greener on the other side? Yes, and it smells better too! This is the story of a desperate housewife. Nancy (Mary Louise Parker) is a recently widowed mother who moonlights as a pot dealer to keep up her family's suburban lifestyle. And it soon emerges that life in suburbia is anything but sleepy, with customers cropping up in the most surprising of places. A great ensemble cast and a host of dysfunctional characters make Weeds a highly original, satirical and edgy drama with a great black comic streak.

Excellent script, engaging characters and loaded with "no way!!" cliff-hangers.

breaking bad with female lead - Weeds: Series 1 review by RC
Weeds is okay but it is a show deeply influenced by Breaking Bad, no new angles apart from a female lead, How it managed 8 series I don't know.
