Filled to the brim with damsels in distress, cunning outlaws, devilish villains, lovable rogues, brave heroes and swashbuckling daring-do. 'A Challenge for Robin Hood' is everything you would ever hope for in a highly entertaining, old-fashion ripping yarn. Released in 1967 it also added a few surprising twists to the legend of Robin Hood to become a classic example of an extremely enjoyable matinee movie. Our story takes place in ye olde England where sabotage and deceit are afoot within the courts of Nottingham. The honourable Robin De Courtney has been falsely accused of murder, a plan hatched by his evil cousin Roger De Courtney and the ruthless Sheriff Of Nottingham. Forced into hiding within the nearby forest he chances upon a band of notorious outlaws. Together they must join forces to help Robin reclaim what is rightfully his.
