- Synopsis:
A heart-warming tale of a family's special Christmas that offers an unforgettable lesson in love and trust. Maddie Parker (JoBeth Williams) and her daughters are going to visit her mother for the holidays. Coincidentally, they run in to her soon-to-be-ex-husband, Mitch (Michael Ontkean) who is headed in the opposite direction. Thanks to a blanket of snow, and a closed airport, these two weary travellers discover they have nothing more to do except fall in love again. Inititally the uncomfortable situation leads to an argument which is overhead by Earl and Ruth, a loving older couple who make their mission to get Maddie and Mitch back together for the holidays. Beyond the hurt and distrust that separates them, the warmth of family and wisdom of new friends begins to shine through. - Actors:
