- Synopsis:
- Carol and George Boyagian do not celebrate Christmas Day - not since they lost their beloved son John on that very day in 1991 during the Gulf War. But with their daughter Jean facing a life-threatening illness, George insists that they try to recapture the Christmas spirit one more time. Carol resists - until a hitchhiker named Matthew enters their stricken lives. He announces that he served in John's regiment and has many stories to tell of their lost son. But who, precisely, is 'Matthew'? An impostor - or the miracle the family has been praying for?
