- Synopsis:
- Gin-quoffing English diplomat Morgan Leafy (Colin Friels) is serving his time in a small African country, rife with political upheaval. His life is thrown into turmoil on the eve of a Royal visit, after he is caught sleeping with the wife (Joanne Whalley-Kilmer) of local Presidential candidate Sam Adekunle (Louis Gosset Jr.). Adekunle tries to blackmail Leafy into helping him secure a building contract, forcing the diplomat to turn to the local doctor (Sean Connery) for help.
