- Synopsis:
- A life on the railroads is all that an old hobo (Barnard Hughes) has known since he walked out on his family 20 years ago. His desertion has caused a bitter rift, especially with his son, Charlie (Gerald McRaney), who wants nothing to do with his father. But now it's Christmas and the old man's back in town - and there couldn't be a better time to try to heal the wounds left by the past.
