A Hole in My Heart (2004)Rickard (Thorsten Flinck) and his painfully shy son and abrasive industrial music enthusiast, Eric (Björn Almroth), live in a run down apartment where Rickard pursues amateur pornography with friend Geko (Goran Marjanovic) and seemingly adroit adult actress Tess (Sanna Bråding). Drink flows, inhibitions crumble and behaviour grows more and more disturbing. Like some twisted, compact Marquis de Sade, bedlam erupts as social codes are abandoned entirely and pop psychology, cosmetic surgery, tabloid journalism, class politics, alienation and human emotions are put through the collective wringer of a vicious and technically astonishing visual and aural tour de force.

Poetic, fantastically experimental and formally radical, 'Container' is the latest film from award-winning and internationally acclaimed director Lukas Moodysson. Stylistically reminiscent of the US underground avant-garde cinema of the late 60s and early 70s, with definite nods to the works of Andy Warhol and Jack Smith, this bold, vibrant film sees Moodysson challenge, with typical daring, notions of gender, identity, celebrity and consumer culture in the eclectic, neurotic 21st century.- Actors:
