In a society where happiness suddenly becomes precarious, a young woman searches for her purpose as a journalist and her place as a human being. Apparent simplicity graces this Norwegian summer portrait. Asta (Amalie Ibsen Jensen) tries to find meaning and a sense of place in the coastal town in Western Norway where she works as a journalist. As she attempts to uncover the truth behind the disappearance of an asylum seeker, her personal life and her views on justice are affected.
