- Synopsis:
- A Place to Call Home is an Australian period drama television series. It is set post WWII, in a country area located in New South Wales. When Sarah Adams (Marta Dusseldorp) returns home to Australia to start a new life after spending twenty years abroad, she quickly finds herself at odds with Elizabeth Bligh, a wealthy matriarch. With a range of diverse characters, the series is predominately romance-driven, exploring how such a deep emotion can exist during a conflict and drama-ridden time.
