Synopsis:
Updated and extended version of the Channel 4 documentary about the Flying Scotsman, the most famous steam locomotive in history. Contributors include Alan Pegler, who lost everything after buying the engine from British Rail in 1963; Sir William McAlpine, who then owned the Scotsman for twenty years; and Doctor Tony Marchington, who later purchased the train for £1.25 million. The programme is presented by former 'Blue Peter' frontman Simon Groom.
