Few fighting groups have the prestige, history and battle record of the 9th Infantry Division or as they have become known the 'Old Reliables'. From their first landing on Vietnamese soil the men of the 9th lived up to their reputation and this programme follows them as they set up base and head out on patrol.
The 1st Infantry Division in Vietnam 1965 - 1970Known as the 'Fighting First' or the 'Big Red One', the 1st Infantry Division spent a five year tour of duty in Vietnam performing a variety of essential roles.
