Plants need an enthusiastic spokesman to release their fantastic stories of how and where they grow, what they grow with - in the world of plants and fauna, how they were discovered and how they were used. 'A World of Plants' will broaden your ideas about plants to put in your garden. Broadcasters Terry Underhill and Frances Donovan have teamed up to bring you the stories behind the plants, some you will know - some most definitely will surprise you. This video contains two programmes from the 8 part series 'A World of Plants'. In this compilation Terry takes a look at summer colour including varieties of Cornus, Anchusa, Rosa filipes 'Kiftsgate', Cerinthe, Alpines, Helianthus and Rudbeckia. Terry talks to horticulturist Rose Clay about Penstemons and Hydrangeas. Frances covers amongst others, Lythrum salicaria, Chelidonium, Summer Snowflake, Gunnera manicata, Solidago and Clematis.
