Man can never forget the good and bad deeds of his life. Rajesh (Dilip Kumar), a rich youth, leading a luxurious life, was not happy with himself. Guilt kept creeping his mind for a mistake he had committed in his childhood. Shekhar (Manoj Kumar) belonged to a poor family, and was Rajesh's only true friend. Rajesh supported Shekhar financially for his medical studies. Mayadas (Pran Sikand) was the treasurer of Rajesh's wealth and wanted to get his daughter Aarti (Simi Garewal) married to Rajesh. But, the scene was very different. Aarti and Meena (Waheeda Rehman), both were in love with Shekhar and Rajesh was in love with Meena. Rajesh wanted to get married to Meena, but Mayadas put doubts in Rajesh's mind about Meena's character and Shekhar's relationship with her. Rajesh falls for the conspiracy and wants to get Shekhar out of his life. On realization of all this, Shekhar convinces Rajesh of Meena's clean and pure character. Rajesh feels ashamed of himself and attempts suicide. Rajesh makes a will in which he mentions his entire property in favor of Meena and Shekhar. But Rajesh's fate had something else in store for him. He survives at the cost of his legs. Meanwhile, Meena convinces Shekhar to get married to Aarti. Rajesh returns back to see a happily married Shekhar and Meena, but are surprised to see Aarti in Meena's place. What happened to Meena? Did they get married? - Actors:
