Rahul is a singer in a good restaurant. One day, when he comes home his mother Rohini tells him that his father is getting married to another woman today. This sends Rahul in anger venue of marriages and lands himself in police custody.
Here in police custody under strange circumstances sees a girl shivering in cold. He offers her his jacket, it is love at first sight, but before he could talk to her she is taken away by her Hostel Warden. Having found his love he persues but Anu rejects the romantic advances of Rahul saying she is a orphan and she has no future. Warden catches Anu after meeting Rahul and takes her away to Ooty to get engaged to be married to a boy called Peter. Rahul follows her there and on day of engagement rebels against Warden.
