Aasra Pyar Da (1983)

After attending college on his brother's dime, Suraj returns home and marries the beautiful Kiran. As a gesture of gratitude to his brother, when the couple's first child is born, Suraj turns the infant over to his childless sister-in-law to raise. No good deed goes unpunished, though, and soon, a rival for Kiran's affection begins spreading vicious rumors in this film co-starring Navin Nischol, Raj Babbar and Priti Sapru.
