Synopsis:
The Abbott and Costello TV Show is timeless American humor, as fresh today as it was 40 years ago. All the classic routines which "the boys" performed on film, radio and stage, were captured in 1952-1953 for the new medium of television and delivered at the peak of their powers. The regular cast of characters, including Mr. Fields, Mike the Cop, Stinky, Bacciagalupe and Hillary, had worked with Bud and Lou on film and stage and each contributed memorably. These shows stand today as perhaps the finest surviving representation of the art of burlesque comedy.

The Western Story (1953)
Hillary's leaving to run the dude ranch she inherited from her uncle, and she invites Bud and Lou to work for her. They get lost enroute, but some smart aleck Indians get them to the B-Bar-Bop ranch. Once there, Lou tries unsuccessfully to milk a cow. The boys then join a posse headed by Sheriff Fields to stop cattle thieves. In the Red Dog Saloon, they confront Black Bart, and Lou leads a wild barroom brawl that miraculously corrals the entire gang.
Barber Lou (1954)
The boys must talk their way out of 5 speeding tickets while rushing Mrs. Bronson to the roominghouse to rehearse for her benefit show. As Lou practices "I Dream Of Jeannie", Bud directs the curtain to be raised and lowered. Lou thinks these are stage directions - with zany results. After the benefit, Lou gives Bud a rubdown while following the announcer on "Fatless Frankie's Reducing Radio Show". But when the station switches to instructions on painting a car, the rubdown takes a bizarre turn. Lou sandpapers Bud's rough exterior, before applying a two-toned paint job.
Las Vegas (1953)
Bud and Lou decide to take their "California Bankroll" ($2 wrapped around an orange) and parlay it into big bucks in Las Vegas. But first, they head to Friendly Fields' lot to buy a new car. After dickering for a real clunker, the boys, with Hillary in tow, drive to Las Vegas. Once there, a parade of zany touts try to tell Lou which horse to bet on. Bud explains the intricacies of "mud-ders" and "fodders", and Lou puts his bankroll on "Bazooka" who promptly loses. A pool game with a guy who thinks he's Julius Caesar sends the boys home more broke than ever.
Pest Exterminators (1953)
The Abbott and Costello Exterminator Company's first job is to rid a nutty psychiatrist's office of termites. Lou confronts a patient with his own assortment of pests: bats and polka-dotted elephants. Next, Mrs. Featherton calls the doctor's office and Lou answers. Thinking he's the psychiatrist, she asks him to take care of her crazy aunts. Exterminator Lou hears "ants" and the boys are off to exterminate them! The nutty aunts - who live on Watt (what?!) Street - wind up tying up Lou in a game of cowboys and Indians. When the boys proudly announce they've killed Mrs. Featherton's ants, she goes berserk.
