- In an attempt to stay young and on trend aging PR agent Edina Monsoon (Jennifer Saunders) will follow any fad or try any ridiculous diet, drinking heavily and taking whatever drug is currently the most popular she and her best friend Pasty (Joanna Lumley) spend their days seeking out bizarre fashion items, chasing hapless young men and getting into all manner of illegal and hilarious incidents.
