Johnny Daukes makes his directorial debut with this British comedy drama for which he also wrote the rhyming couplet-style script. Salesman Vic Timms (Iain Robertson) is down on his luck in both life and love. As he attends a course of motivational sales meetings, Godfrey, aka God (Simon Callow), decides to send him on a path to meet the promiscuous Mary Macdallen (Myfanwy Waring). However, with a host of other characters also on the course, including two medical reps, Terry (Ian Burfield) and Phil (Jay Simpson), who have brought with them a new sex drug, ageing conman Malcolm (Harry Enfield), as well as two deranged gangsters, things do not go according to plan.
