Adharam (1992)

Baputty is a man who can't seem to catch a break. First, he's wrongfully convicted of killing his own father a crime for which he spends seven years in prison. Then, upon his release, he returns home to find his girlfriend has moved in with another man the person who murdered his father. At his wit's end, Baputty catches the thief but discovers they have more in common than he expected.
