- Synopsis:
- This is a humorous story of Cappy Ricks (Walter Brennan), an old Sea Captain, who is aghast when he returns home to find it being run by his late business partner's wife Mrs. Peasley (Georgia Caine). What really irks Cappy, however, is that his daughters plan to marry against his wish. This is too much for the domineering father and he devices an intriguing plan to set things right - on a deserted Pacific island! Witness the clever antics of the wily old sea captain as he has just about everybody eating out of his hands!
