A summer at the Baltic Sea. It's hot and dry, it hasn't rained in weeks. Four young people meet in a secluded holiday home between the forest and the sea: Leon (Thomas Schubert) and Felix (Langston Uibel), friends since childhood, Nadja (Paula Beer), who works as a seasonal worker in the coastal village, and Devid (Enno Trebs), the lifeguard. They are floating days as if they had fallen out of the world. And just as a spark suffices to set fire to the parched forests around them, so it happens to young people with their feelings and hopes, with love. There is happiness and longing, but also jealousy, sensitivity, tension. Then the flames break out.
