On September 11, 2001, the Twin Towers collapsed in less than 100 minutes. Thousands died, and over ten-thousand children lost their parents. Family members and friends were forced to say farewell to their loved ones. Feature follows the stories of some of the victims of 9/11 whose lives were left in tatters. We see first hand as they courageously attempt to get back on the road to recovery and put the past behind them. We follow the Geidel's, a family of firefighters who are still searching for their son and brother, Gary, who was last seen running into the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001. We meet Donovan Cowan, a young man who suffered severe burns over 50 percent of his body after being trapped inside one of the towers and follow him as he takes his first steps back on the road to recovery. And we are also afforded an insight into the life of Renee Nolan, a mother, who, pregnant on September 11, 2001 has now moved to Kansas in order to get away from the painful memories of New York after her husband was killed inside the Twin Towers.
