- The world is suffering an inexplicable solar catastrophe that is causing the sun to burn out. As light and heat become more scarce, Raymond Beaty (Tim Daly), and his wife Georgina (Kyra Sedgwick), wait in their massive country home for a friend who is supposedly coming to take them to some caves where they'll have a chance of survival. 'After Darkess' is a tense sci-fi thriller about the struggle for survival as the world ends.

Utter Rubbish - After Darkness review by PS
So bad - this is the first film I couldn't be bothered to watch to the end.
All the characters are obnoxious in the extreme - I hope they all died in the end. The storyline is thin at best - what a waste of a potentially good idea.
