- Synopsis:
The third series of this modern family comedy continues the trying times of Jimmy Venables - the only man in Britain to have divorced his wife, but failed to get rid of his mother-in-law. With his ex-wife Ann remarried and staying in Africa, will Jimmy's posh and interfering mother-in-law, Diana, stay to look after their teenage kids, Molly and Alex? Not if Jimmy can help it! Dumped by his long-term girlfriend, Siobhan and with his best mate threatening to sue for a work injury, Jimmy concentrates on his role as a dad - but Diana's making waves at the choral society a ping-pong table is causing a feud with a neighbour; Molly is joining a Celibacy Group and Alex is revealed as being Aunt Daisy, the school newspaper's agony aunt. As the children struggle for more freedom, Diana struggles to tighten her grip on the family, Jimmy just struggles. - Actors:
