A new take on the classic Agatha Christie sleuths Tommy and Tuppence, 'Partners in Crime' is a thrilling, funny and adventurous BBC drama series starring David Walliams and Jessica Raine. Tommy and Tuppence Beresford are jolted from their cosy life in 1950s suburbia when they find themselves in the wrong place at the right time. Guided by Tommy's Uncle, Major Carter, a spymaster working on the 'Third Floor', the pair soon find themselves caught up in a dangerous web of intrigue and espionage, tasked with solving mysteries and saving lives. It is a world that will prove easier to enter than to leave. This six-part drama draws on two classic novels by Agatha Christie: 'The Secret Adversary' and 'N or M?'.
The Secret Adversary
On a train from Paris, our two intrepid travellers stumble across the murder of a young man and the disappearance of his female partner. Who is Jane Finn and what clue did she hold to the identity of a legendary Soviet assassin? Tommy and Tuppence will find that they must risk their lives to discover the truth.

Major Carter enlists Tommy for a mission he must keep secret even from Tuppence, but keeping the truth from his wife soon proves impossible. In search of a missing scientist and his new prototype for a nuclear bomb, the couple dupe one another to reach a seemingly quiet seaside guesthouse. Lurking within is a deadly enemy agent at the heart of it all and Tommy and Tuppence must quickly join forces again if they are to uncover the agent's identity and save the world. Good watch - Agatha Christie's Partners in Crime review by AW
David Williams in a role that was new to me and very good. I enjoyed the film although I appeared to get confused with some of the characters.
I fully recommend it and certainly worth watching.
