This short film reveals some of the many technology advancements that were made during the course of WWII. Mission Accomplished: This film covers the first B-17 mission into Germany. AAF Weekly Digest '45: The role of the pilot is explored as this film follows pilot briefings and bomber runs. Excellent footage of B-17's, B-24's, and B-25's. B-25 Low Level Strafing: Watch specially outfitted B-25's flying at treetop level while strafing factories, railroad yards, bridges, towns and anything else that moves. You can see people and animals running as the B-25 Mitchell bombers touch the trees while speeding just over the ground. The footage is from 38th BG of the 5th Army Air Force, ''The Sun Setters'', Action in 1945 on Formosa.
