Founded in 1967 by Claude Nobs, the 'Montreux Jazz Festival' has established itself as one of the most prestigious annual music events in the world. The extraordinary list of artists who have played there is drawn from across the musical spectrum and from around the world. Now, with the consent of the festival and the artists...On 2 July 2012 Alanis Morissette, one of the most successful female artists and songwriters of all time, returned to Montreux as part of her Guardian Angel Tour in support of her new album "Havoc and Bright Lights". It was her third appearance at the festival. The set showcased songs from the new album alongside classic tracks from across her career. Always a consummate live performer, this video captures Alanis Morissette at her very best.
